Emergency Alert Program
Welcome to Otero County's tool for providing residents with direct emergency and non-emergency information. Otero County Emergency Alert Program is a county service that supplies residents with text messages, phone calls and/or e-mail alerts for incidents/conditions such as severe weather emergencies, hazardous materials, traffic impacts, etc. Preparedness and being informed is key in an emergency. Otero County urges residents to subscribe to receive alerts sent directly to mobile phones or email accounts to stay informed.
Once registered, please create a contact in your phone for Otero Alerts
Phone alerts will show up on Caller ID as 575-437-2210 or 575-404-1258. Please save both numbers as a contact on your phone.
Text/SMS message will show up from Sender ID 65513
NOTE: If you are attempting to register and receive a pop-up message that says "Email is already registered" or "Number is already registered", simply return to the login screen and click on "Forgot your Password?". Then use the email or number to receive a temporary password. The number must be able to receive text messages.
